Self-care > Productivity

I am just as worthy when I am resting as I am when I am active or “productive.” Yoga was hard this morning! I felt like I was under-performing. But I listened to my body and took it more slowly when I felt the need. Looking at my heart rate, I still got a great workout in. But even if my heart rate hadn’t gotten this high, it’d be totally okay. We all need slower days sometimes. I don’t have 100% to give to the hustle every single day, and that’s actually normal; that’s human. But I can give 100% to my self-care every day, and what that looks like may change on a daily basis. Be nice to yourself. You deserve it.
